Sentry is supposed to be this big ol badass but he tends to fall short.
recently i picked up a few issues of "Marvel comics Presents" and seen a impressive character called Colonel America.

He didn't actually kill Vanguard in those scans. Retcon tricked him into thinking he did. However Colonel American does seem pretty powerful, I'm fairly certain we have not seen the last of him.
