Yeah I got a fetish for supergirl all the sudden, anyhow it would be interesting to see how Supes would handle the pg...assuming a cross-over ever happened again.

Superman with the Power Gem would eventually win.

Whomever wields the Power Gem becomes physically invincible. Thanos however is a very powerful telepath. I give this fight to Superman with PG.

So lets see ..thanos making use of the power gem is able to completely obliterate the heroes sent to fight him in the Infinity Gauntlet series ( as some in previous posts have said that when he did so, he was only using the power gem for a boost to his own powers)...but superman, whom i think we can agree is not exactly a weakling ..can't beat the the mad titan in a 1 v 1 battle , using the power gem to boost his own abilities?.....

The power gem amps one's own abilities, which is why Thanos was able to do all those things he did in the IG saga with just the powergem.
Basically the more powers one has already, the more powerful one will become with the powergem.

Superman with the PG will have amped strength, and heat vision....

Thanos is by far my favorite character, but I give more victories to Superman.

Thanos could outsmart him, or maybe put him in a block of pure energy, if it works.

But Superman with the PG would be scary as hell. If he can use it properly.

Well TBH SS never really had the power to hurt him. Speed without the power to hurt someone really doesn't matter.

Power gem would be enuff if Thanios hadnt forecefielded it befre.

He only cut off sensory input from the Gems. He was using all of them.

^ While I do think Superman wins this. To be fair, it took a few good shots for Thanos' forcefields to crumble against Power Gem Thor.

Again, your suggesting I have a preference in the outcome and I do not. I simply want this matter settled as thoroughly as possible.

Well it won't be settled. Die-hard supes fans are going to say supes and the same for Thanos. Has there ever been an agreement on this board? As long as one person disagrees then it will never be settled.

Whats reported? Its true. You said that this takes place on DC earth, so the PG won't have any power at all. Its just a Supes with rock vs Thanos. Got nothing against you or Aster, but after rereading the first page and referencing the rules of crossovers the PG shouldn't work for the same reason that the Speedforce isn't in the MU. I guess I just assumed that they were fighting in the KMCU when I first read it.
