The ability he speaks of reduce the target to 1 hp and 0 magic. The thing is, Pyron needs no magic of any sort. He does not even need an ability. He can just spinkick the planet into the sun shrug

Pyron doesn't even need to do anything to win.

He just needs to float near them and they will burn to death.
