Thanos contains Mike and all his power in a Force Block or drains him with his shields.

During the war of heaven when lucifer revolted, and Michael finally decided to take action, he used the power of the demiurgos within him and instantly defeated and pushed Lucifer and all his forces out of heaven.

Was right before he stopped and doubted for a moment, and then sandalphon betrayed him.
