Who are the 10 most powerfull heroes in comics? no abstracts

snyper1982
I would say Surfer, Thor, Superman are probably the top 3, and the rest are pretty debatable.

Endrict Nuul
Not Superman.....keyword is powerful and not strongest.

However Superman (Tangent) maybe.

Endrict Nuul
Surfer
Thor
Genis-vell
Ion
Sentinel (Alan Scott)
Dr. Strange
HOM wanda

These are some and not in any order

Val-E-Doosh
Superman would have to be #1 considering he's 10x stronger than other top tier bricks.

LOL. It isn't like this is a debate where I have to justify my reasons from him being on my list. There is no right or wrong answer for the question being posed. If you really want to know though, I don't read much comics, so I just don't know much about all of the heroes. From what I do know though, Superman makes it on my list. When I learn more about other characters, that could change.

I guess I should just start throwing out random names then? If I don't know anything about the other characters people in this thread are listing, then how am I supposed to have them in my list? So if you could keep your elitist attitude to yourself I would appreciate it.

Anyways, like I said, I don't really have to justify my opinion, since it is only that, an opinion. There is no debating in this thread, and if one starts, then I am staying away from it, because I don't know enough about the characters being listed.

Nah, not really, anyways lets drop this...

Zack Fair
Supes can actually be very versatile with the limited powerset he has. Sure not as versatile as the likes of Surfer or Thor--if he feels like it. However Supes has done insane stuff, especially when sundipped.

occultdestroyer
The Spectre
Takion
Ion
Tangent Superman
Captain Britain w/ Excalibur and Amulet
Dr. Manhattan
Emma Frost
Silver Surfer

Stoic
Stardust?

DigiMark007
Some of these wouldn't qualify as heroes. Dr. Manhattan, Spectre, etc. Ambivalent is the word I'd choose to describe them...sometimes people are neither heroes nor villains. Galactus for example.

My list:

Solar, Man of the Atom
The Doctor
Dr. Strange
Dr. Fate (depends on incarnation)
Superman 1 Million
Sentinel Alan Scott
The Keeper
Rune King Thor
Franklin Richards
Darkseid

Surprisingly, I agree. Although, you missed Diana.

WW is nowhere near this list.

Fangirl's list isn't bad, but I'm reasonably sure all of my list could beat a few on his. But he might have 1-2 that I could consider for mine as well.

Cavalier
Solar, Man of the Atom.

Everybody else.

And Darkseid?

Im sure Marvel would have to be in there as well..shazam (skyfather) + old captian marvel may not have the feats but hes got to have the potential.

I was going to point that out. That, and the fact that Franklin Richards is nearly useless. Whining little brat that he is.

High standards for heroism I see . . .

You could replace Darkseid with AdamWarlock w/ the IG.

Red Hulk
It's not just that Darkseid's evil, it's that this is supposed to be about the most powerful people... erm

"to stop the cycle"

Heroic in the long-term, no?

And Darkseid...well, let's just say my concept of morality differs from most. As he put it to Mary Marvel in the otherwise-atrocious Countdown, good and evil are mere perceptions.

Also, it was a joke. The rest of my list is legit.

Enyalus
Darkseid is my personal hero, so you're all right by me, Digi.

Endless Mike
Solar, or does he count as an abstract?

Also, it was a joke. The rest of my list is legit. He let everyone die... hell, he basically made everyone die just so they wouldn't relive the cycle.

But Darkseid sucks too much that even a hero, he shouldn't be near this list.

Thor,Silver Surfer,Doctor Strange,Sentry,Hulk,Genis-vell,Orion,Beta Ray Bill,Superman,and Black Bolt.

Scuzz2.0
does anyone else think that spectre is not an abstract?

psycho gundam
in marvel, abstract entity means: anthropomorphic character representing a concept, and only or mostly speaking or acting within the boundaries of that concept (e.g. master order CAN"T perform acts of chaos like "his brother" lord chaos does, and vice versa). these beings also "can't" be killed since they only represent a concept and only interact with physicals through m-bodies (manifest bodies).

spectre is a wrath, "eye for an eye" personified.

imo he is abstract.

anyway:

dr strange

surfer

captain marvel (dc)
