JesterTheFool
How good was Cade skywalker compared to some of the greats?

Faunus
Not very. He's incredible for his age and level of training, but he's nothing compared to "the greats."

Red Nemesis
Greats like Johun Othone?

Lord Knightfa11
lionel rich--- *looks at the shunning facial expressions that surround him* nvm.

Captain REX
Cade Skywalker has a very low level of training. As a Padawan he performed well against minor Sithlings that his father was hacking through like a warm knife through butter, but his Jedi training was cut off after that. He's a better marksman that a swordsman, but he still seems able to take on Darth Krayt, leader of the Sith... suspension of disbelief? I'm not sure.

Faunus
He trained until fourteen, took seven years "off," and still managed to defeat Darth Talon by chucking a starship at her.

Darth Sexy
In terms of force potency, he just MIGHT have more than even Luke. This is a stretch of course but that's the way the Legacy Authors are playing it out. He's the "chosen one" apparently.

BruceSkywalker
Cade is just fair.

WTF. Anakin was the Chosen One. GL says so. Does this mean that the Legacy era is non-cannon?

Faunus
*yay*

Lightsnake
At no point is Cade the 'Chosen One.' Where does that come from?

Captain REX
Indeed, nobody has made that comment.

Cade is unique in that he possesses the power to heal the dying through the Force... or alternatively rip them apart through the same method.

But that does not have relevance to the Prophecy of the Chosen One. That was Anakin.

Darth Sexy
As I'm understanding, Cade's skills don't atrophy and he has that unique healing power that the greatest sith lords and jedi masters looked for, in terms of immortality. He's got one hell of a force potency.

JesterTheFool
if he had completed his training how great do u think he could of been?

Darth_Glentract
Really great, but so could most anyone.

the ancient siths also knew how to heal people from death.

xxxpoppunker182
who says cade can't finish out his training?

Just because he hasn't yet doesn't mean he won't.

Captain REX
I have a feeling that all Cade wants is to be left well-enough alone.

Seems ridiculous until you look at some of the things Luke did with half that much training...

Agreed.

Captain REX
I don't know if that's the direction they'll take with it... but I wish they'd just get on with it and cement out which side Cade is aligned with. I'm getting tired of the 'I am on no side!' nonsense that he spews whenever someone brings it up.

Young_Angel
I know, right? Personally, I wish that he'd say he's on the Jedi side. Why can't we all just get along to stop the Sith? That... is the question... stick out tongue

No reason there can't be another 'Chosen One.' Just means they were 'chosen' for a different purpose.

Captain REX
It would have to be a whole new prophecy, but right now being the Chosen One in Star Wars refers to the role that Anakin played in the destruction of the Sith.

Young_Angel
Yeah, and I agree too. But if Cade does destroy the One Sith... what would that make him? A hero of the Galaxy? Or just the guy that says, "All right. I did my part. Now... just leave me the kriff alone." Hmm...

Captain REX
Bah and humbug, I think Cade will probably go on to reboot the Jedi Order unless he pulls a Judge Dredd, says 'Screw the lot of you' and rides off on his motorbike.

Oh yeah. That'd be totally hot. big grin

Ahem! But yeah, he'd totally say something like that about the Jedi and Sith, along with the Empire and GA.

Captain REX
Haha, well, glad to see that someone agrees with me. Unless they try to make it that Cade reestablishes the Jedi Order and such, which I will find hard to buy with all his Jedi companions going 'Shit, Cade is so damn Dark that I'm not even sure he's a good guy!"

Yes, obviously Cade is not the chosen one, but you have to realize that there is more than one prophecy, therefore more than one chosen one. (There is usually a chosen one for each prophecy.)

Captain REX
Though, of course, we haven't heard any of these prophecies, so calling him a Chosen One for anything is kinda absurd at this point.

Young_Angel
Shoot, even Cade would probably flip if somebody called him The Chosen One. And him leading a rebuilt Jedi Order... laughing out loud I just thought about the most funniest thing. He'd probably be the next "Major Payne"! That'd be totally funny. big grin

mattatom
I think Cade would go pull a Jolee, on everyone's rear. "Just leave me kriffin alone!". But thats just my take.

Young_Angel
Oh yeah. That'd be funny too. laughing out loud

Just a thought - didn't Anakin Solo have the potential to surpass Luke if he survived? Kyp thought he did if I remember correctly and Kyp was a beast.

Publius II
Not again...

Lord Lucien
Hasn't this been asked before?

CadoAngelus
people keep saying he's rubbish (affectively) or that he's not as good as the greats, well, maybe he's not as good as the greats. For instance the greats have training for decades in combat and force abilities so they know the ins and outs of the force pretty much.

Cade however is a skywalker, you guys remember, the family that was born from the force. Maybe we're forgetting our star wars history but he could work as a male escort for half his life and still come back and pick up a star fighter or cruiser...

he may not be trained, so all of his moves are powered through emotion and his raw energy, but he held his own against an ex-jedi master/lord of the sith and survived...gotta tell you something. If trained in time and with the proper care, he could become as powerful as anakin before/after his decent to the dark side...

just look at his potential guys
