green is catholics, orange protestants, white is peace between them

Okay, so, this flag means this. . . . The white stars represent the space aliens who landed centuries ago. The blue is the ocean. The space aliens landed in the ocean! Then, the red stripes represent red diesel fuel, commonly used for tractors and recreational vehicles such as ATC's and Quad Runners. . . because everyone knows that this country couldn't have happened if it weren't for diesel! And finally the white stripes. Well, the white stripes are designed to respond to alien radar. As the wind bends the reflective white, micro reflections bounce across the galaxy. Alien radar can pick it up. "And what do they use to power their ships??!" You may ask yourself . . . red diesel fuel.

Scotland has 2 flags - the saltier cross and the lion rampant. The saltier (often called the st andrews cross) is symbolic of St andrew the apostle being crucified. It's white on blue because of a vision (before a battle with the anglo saxons) of clouds in a cross shape against a blue sky. The angos were defeated and St A became scotlands patron saint.

More popular with the "true" Scot is the red lion rampant on a yellow background. The rampant lion was the heraldic token of King William I and harks back to a time when Scotland was independent - hence it's popularity. The noble rampant lion symbolises the valiant soldier - who like the lion "preys on men rather than women, and they do not kill children"

the seven sided star represents the six original states and territories of australia.
then there is the "southern cross" which is "based on the british blue ensign"
