both blade and wolverine have a chance if they can get in close (blade seeing as he doesnt have asoul penance stare hsouldnt work on him and he's immune to hellfire, if he can get in a stab with his adamantium sword he should be able to get the tie, same wit hwolverine)

And like I said, I believe it was explained that because he had been alive for so long he himself was too strong to be hurt by weaker levels of magic than himself.

Like trying to put out a forest fire with a drop of water.

If he was completely immune to magic they couldn't have beaten him.
