He's basically stated that Synnar is the word. Becuz that is what created everything.

Becuz that is what created everything. not really. synnar was basically given the role that both michael and lucifer shared in vertigo. meaning, he originally released the demiurgic power (as michael did,) then used his will to shape said power into the actual patterns of creation (as lucifer did.)

But in the old series, it's the word that is the creator. remember crisis. The Spectre's boss was the word. Which was the creator.
