I suppose it's expected with the 3D remake of MBV that a special edition comes out.

I just got my copy of MBV a month ago so I think I'll pass on this.

But I guess people are excited about an extended version.

I'll keep the one I got years ago, nice cover as well. Don't like it enough to get a different edition.

I have a copy already..

As for this it depends, but I'll take a look before I decide to buy

As a young teenager, I never got that it was a Canadian horror film, set in Nova Scotia, until I finally watched it last year. My friend & I were cracking up, seeing the characters sit around drinking Moosehead beer - the preference for hosers, eh?stick out tongue
Maybe because Paramount bought it & distributed it - and they were doing all the Friday the 13th films back then - I thought it was another American slasher.
Film wasn't that scary, really. I only got the creeps in the changeroom sequence with the hanging gear.

I think that its kinda cool that theyre hacing this movie come out as 3D. Different, I wish that it was going to be a good movie, I dont know yet, but it just looks pretty silly. Well see, hopefully it ends up being awesome!
