Kurse at his weakest was 2X Thors power (later to become 4X), so unless Orion simply flies high above Kurse and rains the Omega Force down on him continually, which simply is Not how Orion fights, Kurse beats him pretty badly.

if orion knows the iron weakness, he has a shot at the majority (provided there is some available and it doesn't get slapped out of his hand).

without that knowledge, kurse gives him the business.
