That was my thought, too. Without Orion, I'd say Thanos had a decent shot to pull the majority. With him there, too much brawn and damage to take.

Thanos can take anyone on this team 10/10 and easily but as a team of this caliber I give the team a majority even though I could see thanos pulling out some wins; hes just that damn powerful.

What are those scans supposed to prove?

That Thanos is physically superior to The Thing, Warlock and Captain Marvel? That he has better durability than the Surfer?

What difference will this make against Superman or Orion?

I doubt either of them will be standing in front of Thanos trying to restrict him.

And it was pretty much a one-shot, as Surfer wasn't going to get up and start fighting if Thanos was actually fighting.

I think surfer was still in good enough shape to continue fighting though( yeah he would lose badly but he wudnt have given up) . a few pages later he is going at it with some weird green monster.

If Thanos went after Surfer right away, Surfer wouldn't have been able to do anything at all to defend himself.

Well the the comic was 36 pages long its not TOO much of a stretch to call it a few.

Yeah, granted if that had been a fight, surfer would have been done for but the point remains he was still conscious at least.

What's amazing is that it was Thanos' spirit that did it. He didn't even have a body yet, and his soul had just been let out of the box Death's servitors were carrying it in.

True but like 2 pages later surfer is already back on his board.

Yeah its not but to one shot someone u have to outright defeat them in one hit with no other hits needed. Surfer was still fully conscious after the first hit and though he was in a very vulnerable postion was technically not defeated yet.

Many of this team would be put away within the first 5 minutes (Supergirl is too green), leaving Superman and Orion to face off against Thanos. Without a decent solar amp I don't see Superman being able to resist Thanos' mystic/psychic combo for very long.

As far as Orion goes, it's hard for me to imagine that he can defeat Thanos when he was able to take a full blast in the face from the Silver Surfer, and none of these guys can output power on Odins level, not to mention Galactus'.

Thanos should be able to resist anything that either of these guys can throw at him... I see Orion falling second to last leaving Superman on his own... I believe that it could go either way with Superman and Thanos, simply because of Superman's tremendous speed and since CIS is off.... hmmmm, I'm really tempted to go with Thanos because of his psi talents though.

CIS is always on unless otherwise specified.

If Thanos would have continued the fight Surfer would have still been withering in pain, and all that would be needed is any sort of blow. Unneeded shots.

Wrong choice of words. I meant he was still aware of his environment even though he was in pain

No shots needed would mean thanos woudnt have to hit him again cuz the fight wud be over. In that case however surfer wasnt down and out just yet. Thanos would still have to finish him off even if he would have to use a very weak attack.

The 'fight' was basically over. Thanos would have been ready to fight, Surfer wouldn't have been, or have been able to defend himself. Any attack would have been unnecessary, especially when you implied that a very weak attack could have finished Surfer there.

Either way, it was just an eyeblast, and before Thanos had gotten his upgraded physical body.

Before surfer walks to the end of the cave. He is holding his side and asks himself "can one feel pain in a dream?"

Surfer was vulnerable yes but that doesnt mean the fight was over just yet. And an attack certainly would hve been necessary given how fast surfer can recover.

thanos got up in the next panel that was CONVENIENTLY cut off.

thor hit him with a a rabbit punch holding mjolnir and was pissed since he just got resurrected after thanos killed him, that punch was not pulled at all and thanos didn't even feel it.

I can certainly see thanos taking some victories. I see this as an evan split. I think Orion and Supes make it a split but thanos can take all of them sometimes as well

Hard for me to believe Thanos can beat them all at once. I give it a team 6-7/10.
