Lester and Floyd are both attempting to kill the Karate Kid in the 31st century. They both have 1 days prep.

If they are working together Val dies but solo i doubt they could get him.

Both are after a bounty and working seperatly. It's a routine assassination and neither have any interest in trying to kill the other.

Karate Kid hears both of them miles away and spies on THEM! Really happened. And to a better assassin than both of them.
