I was thinking about a fight that would be fairly evenly matched and yet interesting. I thought these two would be a good close bout to see. Both are about physically equal. so what does everyone think? I believe archangel obtains enough endurance to dish out. After nightcrawler gets tired of teleprting i think archangel would end his life.

Arch Angel. The adamantium wings and poison darts would give him the win :P. That and Night crawler wasn't really built for air combat.

Now Angel would have been a more interesting match. Nightcrawler might have stood a chance if Angel hadn't developed his new super healing power.

I'd go with nightcrawler If it's the current Archangel

I figured i had to give angel some sort of edge, because aside from flying he has nothing to offer in a match against nightcrawler

Probably Nightcrawler regardless of which incarnation of Angel.

Wow angel vs nightcrawler I love both characters angel have a limited amout of power not to much angel is not much of a fighter let me put it this way it would be a boring battle!

False. Angel is, in fact, quite the accomplished fighter. Hell, he's ONE OF THE ORIGINALS. He's been training as long as he's been a member of some X-team.

This fight really could go either way honestly.

I'd probably have to give Nightcrawler the advantage here, however.

Archangel's wings may be indestructable, but warren still has those annoying things called internal organs. Nightcrawler teleports faster than warren can keep track of. Kurt blindsides archangel and stabs him in the chest.

Archangel wings is not adamantium or indestructible its techno organic, it would be very difficult for Nighcrawler to teleport parts of his bodies if Archangel flaps those wings around they move pretty fast probably above subsonic speed and very sharp, someone tried it once already and got decapitated but Nightcrawler can use his sourrounding to his advantage teleporting portions of rocks/cements, it really depends on there stamina and i say Archangel tops it since his wings is techno organic and can last quite long...

Against Angel Nightcrawler takes him..

Besides, warren does have some kind of superstrength/durability. His body is built to withstand speeds human body wouldn't be able to take. His wings are aloi very strong. (Wings are very strong in real life too)

He has a healing factor, strength, speed, endurance (propably reflexes too) But I'm not saying he'd win easily, or at all.

Wings...head....arms....it really doesn't matter. NC has basically a one-hit-kill attack and I don't see any way Archangel can counter it.


He isn't limited to teleporting body parts off, he can also teleport objects into the bodies of his opponents

Well i quess it all depends how fast Archangel flaps those wings around his body, how far he is in the sky and Kurts eyesight and ability to time his teleports one miscalculation on Kurts behalf and he gets decapitated..

How exactly is flapping his wings quickly a good defenses for Warren?

His head, at least some portion of his back, and his legs would still be exposed and all Nightcralwer has to do is make physical contact to win.

yes, common misconception that Archangels wings are adamantium ( i used to think so too ) but infact they are not, but super close to it

Well I think the wings flaps faster than Kurts ability to teleports and it covers his head not the leg dough. One advantage of Archangels is he is up in the sky better view of the battle ground, moving around + his got long range advantage for a weapon, Kurt on the other hand could keep teleporting around but have to look up to teleport for an attack, it would be a good battle but i give Arch. the edge..
