Who takes it?

Aren't they basically the same entity ?

I think Ion is a little more powerful i dont think parallax could be one with everything at the same time.

Parallax is fear and Ion is willpower. Since Ion was all of the power in battery and Parallax was imprisoned by this energy with enough to spare for green lanterns, Ion must be much more powerful

I also think Ion was a little less crazy, but maybe that's just me.

I think you are talking about the Parallax entity (that caused the yellow impurity and that manifested itself as fear and rage) that was imprisoned within the power battery.
I think the Original Poster is talking about Hal Jordan, when he went loco after seeing his city (and all he loved) destroyed, letting rage (and madness) pollute him, and going and absorbing all the power of Oa. He called himself Parallax as well (and was being poisoned by the machinations of the Parallax entity).

The OP is asking who is stronger: Kyle Rayner as Ion (with all his faculties under HIS control, and all the power of Oa) vs Hal Jordan as Parallax (obviously mad, under the influence of the Parallax entity through rage, and all the power of Oa).

Anyways, I'd personally say that this boils down to two omnipotent beings facing off against each other, with one (Kyle as Ion) having all his mental faculties in order, and the other (Hal as Parallax) stark raving mad and for all intents and purposes possessed.
Both have the full power of Oa behind them.
Both can achieve nigh anything they want.

One is full of focus due to duty and obligation, the other is full of focus due to rage and madness.

Anyways, I'd opt for Ion.
Kyle had all the power as Ion, and he also seemed to be omnipresent on top of being omnipotent.
And when it comes to 2 people that can do anything I think the one who would have the upper hand is the one whose mind is not boiling mad.
I'd say Kyle as Ion.
