Last I checked, Spidey still doesn't have control over his stingers. He can't will them in and out.

this is why you really need to read the comics before answering.

first they suck up magical energies.

second they only work and are usebale on magical creatures and characters. He would not be able to even pull his stingers out since capts not magic by nature

I can't really say that I don't agree. The stingers are kinda...random, I suppose.

Not that I'm arguing against them on the grounds of 'dumbness.' I just don't particularly care for them.

To my knowledge, no one was there with Spidey. Just Spidey and Stegron. Spidey can use the stingers whenever he wants.

Regardless, Spidey doesn't need them.

Cat and Puma (I assume Puma is the one your thinking of) were off fighting the Lizard and Vermin at the time they showed up just after Spidey had Stergon on his Knee's.

Also those were not Spider-man's stingers that was his iron suit forming claws, if you look his stingers are on the wrong side of his hands.

It was stated that his stingers react to magical beings in FNSM, whether they only appear around magic is a different story he still may be able to learn how to use them later on but so far they have only popped out against his other Morlun and a wrestler with a magic suit lol, though why they don't pop out around Doc Strange is beyond me.
