Her armor is strong enough to keep her well through re-entry into an atmosphere. They used to brag about the Hulk like that you know.

From what I read of her, she poses no real threat to Peter at this moment in comics, but who knows how powerful she may become in the future. I just don't think she has enough control over her abilities yet.

She stood up to that Orb guy who almost defeated the X-men and the other mutants at the school.
