Pete's in the FF now and has a job working for a mega-mind think tank with an unlimited budget and resources. The one-word Doom responses might be right (and I'm still leaning that way slightly) but are selling Peter short.

Well the way I had it played in my head is thy doom within a minute could erect magic and science based shields. Parker would have a hard time getting past them. But he is a genius so.. Yeah.,,

We should also concider CIS. Doom is an arrogant #$%@. "Spider-man? He's no threat to Doo..." BAM. Wont know what hit him.
