Each writer have a unique perspective of how powerful one character is compared to another character.
Some writers know their characters as they are fans like us, some they don't.
But this thread is to compare writers points of view on characters.

GREG PAK
Greg Pak IMO grown being a Hulk fan, when you read his stories, you can tell he makes homages to old issues of the Incredible Hulk
So in Pak's eyes how easy or how difficult is to destroy a planet as a side effect of you fight? or what is the power level required to destroy a planet?

This is a direct comparison of the power PAK believes is required to destroy a planet and who can do it, or might have the power to do it, ON HIS POINT OF VIEW.

So, Pak vs Waid's versions, Byrne vs Loeb, Morrison vs Snyder? That kind of thing?

No, it has to be that same writer take on a couple of characters
Jurgen's Superman vs Jurgen's Thor
Loeb's Superman vs Loeb Hulk
and so on, basically doing a similar depiction, for example ON HIS POINT OF VIEW what is the force required to pierce a character's skin vs ON HIS POINT OF VIEW what is the force required to pierce another character's skin
Also you can use same company character's if you want like as long as it is the same writer take on both characters.

Casey's Superman was unstoppable. Casey's hulk got choked out by a snake.

Yeah I know. To Casey's defense that was supposed to be a GIANT snake, but the artist draw the snake really small.

JIM STARLIN
I think this is a pretty interesting knowing that Starlin (creator of Thanos) has admitted his work has influences from Jack Kirby
