Next last minute caveat: no energy drain.

Thor could counter the drain I believe.

Or do the opposite, pump Superman with solar energy. Alternatively open up a portal to the surface of the sun by Superman and give him infinite energy.

That actually sounds like a pretty solid strategy now that I think about it.

Even if he was just as fast then it still won't work. He have to be a lot faster. Superman can pounce him less than a nanosecond. Surfers not doing anything exotic in less than a nanosecond.

I'm not saying Superman is far faster than Surfer, but that he is only marginal faster. Hell it can be accepted that they are the same speed.

With that said, Surfer has to be a lot faster than Superman (not equal speed) to pull off exotic powers against him. Unless you can show scans of Surfer pulling off exotic powers at Superman level speeds.

You act as if Superman would hit Strange once every 2seconds. In other words, after the first hit, Strange would have a few seconds to operate magic before he receives a second hit.

This is false. Superman's perception of Strange would be that strange is frozen. Strange is human with absolutely no superspeed. So even after striking him, Strange would still be frozen. Superman can hit Strange hundreds of times or more before one neuron fires in Strange's brain.

In one hit, Superman can break through the autoshields.

Strange can change his perception so that everything to him is frozen. Regardless Strange in no way has mere human perception he's performed feats by his own admission by the microsecond

So not only is it not the actual Silver Surfer(if we were to go with the circular argument of this is an uber reflex feat), Strange isn't sure if Frankensurfer is going faster than sound or just not talking, and, though not expecting it, gets blasted before reacting in time to shield from the second blast. And if this is this Frankensurfer's only appearance(well as Frankensurfer) his best speed feat is blasting an unprepared(but aware the guy is there) Doctor Strange before he could react.

Strange can increase his speed and perceptions. He can also manipulate time. But he needs to use magic to do so. He would be frozen right after the bell. He would not get a chance to change his perceptions.

But Surtur said that Surfer can protect him after the bell, long enough to operate. I agreed that if they employ that strategy then team 1 wins.
