SG attempted to remake the universe in more recent times, but wasn't able to do so because it was still unwhole/incomplete secondary to being blown into trillionS of tiny pieces by the original big bang(that's where the name "Shattered God" came from.) Had SG been whole again, every implication tells us that it could have succeeded with that goal, and unquestionably remade the universe.
