Well, if you want them to fight in such specific environment - sure, he could outsmart Blob.

To answer how my posts are vaild though is that the hero's and villans get to think.
That's why they can prepare every day for victory and that's why other's and occurences can sometimes be valid.
The heros have had since 1938 on september. Maybe even on the 11th to prepare.
