Acid Storm, the green one. Attacks with acid that eats through armor.

Ion Storm, the blue one. Can create an EMP burst effect that stuns Cybertronians (Usually not a one shot KO on stronger bots).

Nova Storm, the gold one. Completely invulnerable skin. Has survived contact with IDW Sunstorm unscathed who destroys anything he touches. Internals not as durable as Cliffjumper proved with his magnetic powers.


Time Wars Galvatron of course needs no introductions.

Basically, in the Marvel comics run and it's IDW continuation "Regeneration One", mainstream Megatron never becomes Galvatron. Instead, you get all of these alternate timeline versions of Galvatron popping up, Xmen style.

The version in this thread is from UK exclusive stories in the 1989's, written by one of the granddaddy's of Transformers lore Simon Furman, who along with Bob Budiesky in the US created all Transformers lore as we know it today. These exclusive stories were filler necessary because of the difference between US and UK release dates, and they were way better then US stories imo.


So who is Time Wars Galvatron?

This is who he is. He takes on EVERYONE. Both armies, Autobots and Decepticons both.

Combiners? He beat down Piranacon thoughly, and underwater where the Sea Cons Gestalt is strongest.

Optimus Prime? He barely did any damage repeatedly punching a helpless Galvatron who was suffering from Time Seizure hallucinations. Then was suddenly grabbed by the throat and nearly throttled to death.

Megatron's awesome fusion cannon? He took three or four of those in a ROW, and barely had any damage done to him.


Essentially, Time Wars Galvatron was Thanos. The best anyone could do is stun him with a surprise attack, before getting ripped to pieces in the next panel. It took a Time Storm to finally beat him, ripping his body up and carrying him off through time to where he belonged.

I had watched the old TRANSFORMERS and G.I. JOE cartoons as a kid(and vaguely remember them), and occasionally saw some of the later series. But never read any of the comics. You're making me want to read them.
