Super Smash Brothers: Tales From Subspace

In this world, trophies fight.

They know nothing but fighting. Fighting is the sole reason for their existence.

Being turned back into a trophy, being unable to fight, is much like death.


Those are the rules of this world.


But...


When someone...or something...breaks those rules, the world will pay a terrible price...

This is a Super Smash Brothers type roleplay, but will be different than the ones from the past. In THIS game, you will not play as ANY of the characters from the actual super smash brothers game (Unless I say so)

Instead, this game will play out much like Brawl's subspace emissary mode, where in an evil force hopes to absorb worlds to increase it's own power. To stop him are the heroes from those worlds. In this case, the other video game heroes, not necessarily from Nintendo!

The characters you'll play will be from other games, so let's have a variety!

Brief Bio: He was a poor boy with his sister Dominique since they were babies. Years later at the age of 7 Daragons sister became ill. He tried to take her to a hospital but they all shuned them cause they had no money. Eventual a Millionare took them both in. Mr. Mikado took Dauragon and Dominique and raised them as his own. Dominique died shortly after. His sister was recreated as part robot and Dauragon after his dads death became power hunry and wanted nothing more but revenge on those who let him and his sister down.

Kou is cooler though. Kou was pretty cool. That game was like the 4th one for PS2 if im correct. And the graphics were actually good i just wish it was a longer story mod. Only took 30 minutes or less to beat it. But still Survival mod was kick ass. I always used Dauragon or Mugetsu. What about you quincy ?

at 3:03 in the vid she has another super called AngelPhoenix where an huge fire Angel comes from the ground.Now note this isn't the real Blaze but an mugen one.I have heard SoR is coming back out so these could be updated powers

John is not the only Spartan left.

There is Kelly, Linda, Fred, and many others, including the Spartans from the Spartan III project.

The Covenant are a coalition of alien races that follow the prophets. And they only want mankind to be wiped out.

John was the last of the Spartan II project...

I actually don't know the story of the games very well, I just played them and Master Chief kicks ass.

He was the last one known. The games don't really touch on the other survivors. That's why I feel like a nerd for knowing that. ha ha.

There was a book about how they got the Spartans, how they were trained.

they literally STOLE children from thier Families and replaced them with clones that will develop a deadly illness in a matter of... I think it was weeks... But they STOLE children. John, or Spartan 117 as he was called in boot, was one very promising canidate. The woman behind it was the woman who made Cortana too. Cortana is the most high tech AI in the entire human space. I think it was at the age of 17 or 18 they were put into a coma and augmented them. Coating bones with a hard metal, enhancing physical attridutes, enhancing minds. A lot of them died during this process and many more were deformed. Those who survived but were unable to continue in the project went into Inteligence programs. the body was wasted but t he mind was strong. John, Kelly, and if i remember right... Sam? survived. Kelly and Sam? where together during original training. they actually studied using the ideal from the Actual Spartans from the past. Many spartans, after they got thier suits, died when the Covenant destroyed Reach. However many others survived by going underground. the spartans got seperated by many events and the only one still ACTUALLY with the UNSC was Spartan 117..... So..

Wait.. Technically he is right. In the eyes of the UNSC Master Chief John Spartan 117 is the last Spartan.

Megaman has an open faceplate. He never would have made it into the situation that Sam did.

But megaman copies an enemies weapon or ability but the thing i have to beat the living crap out of first then the weapons made so ehh i admit deafeat for now...........................

Well, it's not even the weapons. He was in space and his suit was breached. He would have died no matter what he did. So he blew himself up to save the rest of the team.

What breached his suit?

Charged plasma pistol. Back when their suits were just being made portable.

And when did Sam die in relation to Halos 1-3?

Before 1. The book is called Fall of Reach... i think. There was another Spartan named Lily who was EXCELENT at sniper. you know when you play halo 1 and you go up to the control room in the begining where they turned off your cryo thingy? Did you ever go around and see another control room? Where there was talk that that room Held Lily. She was injured really bad. But the books say only john was on the Pillar of Autum at the time.

Im a Halo NERD! I admit it. theres a place where i live called the Vault and they had hunter figures for sale. I bought two and sarah wanted to know hy i bought too. So I told her "In the halo world you NEVER see a Hunter on its own. There are ALWAYS two!" ^_^

I just played the games, not really a halo nerd/super-fan.

Favorite weapons: Sniper (duh), and Spartan Laser.

Well seeing he is shaping up to be the new main char of the series, i think you might get over the hair. He doesnt rarly makes jokes in the story or anything like that. allthough that may only be because he actually ahs something serious at stake unlike dante

Kenshiro Kasumi is the main character from FOTBS and I don't like him regardless of how strong he is or whatever he is. I'm going to see Dante every time I look at him. Capcom just doesn't know how to make different characters. Look at Street Fighter for instance. How many characters have a pallette swapped Gi?

if its like subspace from smash bros, then they are all in one world, with just places from all of theres in it.

A month, more like an entire year. 2009 was when the last post was posted, not 2010. Anyway I am guessing it wasn't started because people lost interest. You run the risk of being reported if you open up this old thread. lol But by gumbo Xanatos has merit in that yes it is a rather interesting if sometimes often re-used idea.

lol, the risk of being reported. But I've seen plenty of threads that have been pulled back even after being inactive for 2 years. Of course, they didn't last long after. Here's where my curiosity is peaked. Why start a new thread about something cool when you could just resurrect one that's already been brought? If it fails again, then oh well. It gives people something to do for a while and resurrecting them saves up more room then creating entirely new ones.

So, how about we get a consensus here: How many people are interested and willing to participate if we revive this RP? I'm looking for at least four or five. If that happens, then I'm willing to open up the in-game thread myself.

Then I would start the thread, naturally. This would automatically give me control powers. I would then sign all control over to Xan the second I opened the thread.
