A small tear in the fabric of the DCU left from the events of Final Crisis has opened a doorway to the Capcom Universe. Dr. Wily and a band of his robots come through the portal and arrive in Gotham City wreaking comedic havoc. An alert is sounded, and on the viewscreen of the JLA Watchtower this image is seen:

which causes Superman to spray a jet of milk from his nose laughing. Wonder Woman says "You can't be serious? What are these things?" Superman then stands and says "Ok, ha-ha, I'll take care of this." but is cut off by Batman, who says "My city. My fight. I'll take care of this. Canary, Arrow, on me. Diana, contact Black Lightning and tell him to round up Nightwing, Creeper, Katana, Owlman and GeoForce and meet me in Gotham in 30 minutes.
