I thought Gladds always start off a fight confident.

And they have a punch each!

I would say Gladiator.

Teth Adam can take anything Gladiator can dish out.

The same cannot be said about Kallark. Colossus traded blows with Gladiator so I think the stronger, faster, more durable BA(than Colossus) can finish off Gladiator.

Iv'e asked before if Adam or Shazam can survive in space for a fight, and if, for how long. That would be better territory for Gladiator victory.

Gladiator flies at warp-speed in space, he can run like the flash on earth and fly at great speeds also in earth's atomsphere. Gladiator will take him down in a long battle but gladiator will come on top.

Glads then lost his conficence.

If Glads lost his confidence everytime someone took one of his hits he'd never last as long as he does in fights. Wouldn't Supreme have slaughtered him, or Uni Woman, or Thor, or Hyperion. He only lost confidence with Sam, because he knows how weak Sam is compared to himself and knew there was no way Sam should've taken that punch. Glads has never lost confidence in a fight with people who are actually on or above his level. Look at his showing against Tyrant. He never doubted once that he wasn't gonna woop Tyrant's ass. He still lost, but had a better showing that anyone but Surfer.

So yeah, he's not gonna lose confidence just cause Adam gives him a challenge.

I'm saying Glads knew that Reed was nothing compared to himself, therefore when it seemed as though Reed was just taking everything Glads dished out, Glads doubted himself. Same thing that happened with Sam.

And i'm not saying the people on or above his level never beat him. They actually tends to beat him more times than not, I'm saying that it's never because of the confidence factor. That's only ever happens with people alot weaker than Glads.

Gladiator wins, Gladiator is faster, stronger and more durable than Black Adam imo. It would be a hell of a fight if Black Adam goes head up with gladiator he will lose badly, but if he uses his head he can win some battle but not the majority.

What he's saying is that when Gladiator is either losing to or not affecting people he doesn't perceive as even close to his level, then his confidence wavers. Otherwise, it's not much of a factor.
Given that, i'm not sure who would win in this fight. At best showing, Gladiator would be Superman + some. At low showings, Black Adam would make him his servant boy.

Black Adam vs Gladiator.... this seems like a good match up for maybe a couple of minutes until Black Adam realizes that Gladiator was testing out how many powers he has, after that this fight will go to Gladiator, they both have incredible body armor but Gladiator's is a little tougher.
As far as strength goes I'd call it a tie, but like I said before Gladiator has way more powers, I have no idea if Marvel de-powered him but can't he breathe in space? I know Black Adam can't, this fight will be close but Gladiator should beat up on him like Superman always does, plus Gladiator doesn't have a weakness to magic like Supes. Gladiator 9/10.

Marvel themselves did state that they wrote gladiator to be a slight weaker version of precrisis superman and by his feats it is believable. Smashing a planet with his fist. Going 100 times the speed of light. Moving planets by himself. Surviving a blast that was stated to blow up a solar system and flew right out of it without any problem, didnt even notice the blast. Picked up the baxter building with one hand with ease, the baxter building weighs thousands of tons, its the biggest building in the city. Moved a meteor that was stated to be the size of two planets. Moved a space ship that was stated to be the size of texas. Walked through a 8 foot steel titanium door with ease. Flown through stars without any affect and it is a difference when superman does it because the star that he flies through gives him power, so he cant be hurt by it but a star dont give gladiator powers and he flown through it without any affect. Nova himself has fought and seen almost every villian and hero and know what they are capable of but he said that gladiator is one of the most powerful beings in the universe. I can keep going.

BA has fought Flashes where time seemed to stand still around them. It's irrelevant. Both these guys are fast enough to the point where neither is going to be blitzed by the other. Using an example where Glads blitzes Thor is useless since Thor is slow as molasses in comparison to either them. He might as well have been blitzing Hobgoblin.

You brought up the speed blitz not me. Gladiator takes this even if he is blind, crippled and crazy. This has nothing to do with speed blitzing.

I know you all going to say that he is a supermana clone but from what was done of gladiator and what was said about gladiator by marvel. Gladiator>>superman. Thats my opinion I know a lot of people is going to say something about it. Marvel themselves did state that they wrote gladiator to be a slight weaker version of precrisis superman and by his feats it is believable. Smashing a planet with his fist. Going 100 times the speed of light. Moving planets by himself. Surviving a blast that was stated to blow up a solar system and flew right out of it without any problem, didnt even notice the blast. Picked up the baxter building with one hand with ease, the baxter building weighs thousands of tons, its the biggest building in the city. Moved a meteor that was stated to be the size of two planets. Moved a space ship that was stated to be the size of texas. Walked through a 8 foot steel titanium door with ease. Flown through stars without any affect and it is a difference when superman does it because the star that he flies through gives him power, so he cant be hurt by it but a star dont give gladiator powers and he flown through it without any affect. Nova himself has fought and seen almost every villian and hero and know what they are capable of but he said that gladiator is one of the most powerful beings in the universe. I can keep going.

Pre-crisis? shocklaugh Just stop right there. You cannot even begin to compare anyone in marvel under skyfather to PC Supes.

Planet-smashing? Supes has done it and frankly, nothing Glads has done puts him on Superman's level or his peers.

Solar-system destroying blast? Superman withstood a 50 supernova blast, and BA has fought people who have insane durability. CM took a tesseract bomb, a weapon that disrupts space-time and warps an area around it. BA and CM are considered roughly equal in their powers.

Baxter building? Not a great feat if you're going up against people on Superman's level.

Meteor? No comment, haven't seen it.

You're talking strength feats, but the problem is, Gladiator's powers are confidence based, and 2nd, he's never faced someone like BA. He's also not willing to go the extra mile that BA will. BA has combat feats like beating the JSA, CM, Supes, etc. Not to mention the magic lightning, greater strength and general ruthlessness.

Fair question. Because everyone in DC is a Demi-God. They said it themselves in JLA v.s. DC, The Marvel hero is less powerful that DC ones. All Dc Heroes face weak villians. Marvel heroes face villians who make them work for it.

I'm not going into any Marvel Vs DC business but all I'm saying is that as far as ridiculous and outrageous feats go, throwing an aircraft carrier is pretty tame compared to 100x light speed flight.
