Alan Wake is a supernatural horror game developed by Remedy Entertainment.
The game's plot is that famous writer Alan Wake hasn't written anything for two years. He goes on vacation with his wife when suddenly all hell breaks loose. One of Alan's supernatural stories has come to life devouring the town in darkness. Alan's wife goes missing and he has to find her while trying to find pages of the story that haunts him so he can further understand why all the chaos is happening.
Alan's weapons are guns and a flashlight. Creatures Alan will encounter are extremely vulnerable to light. When they're weakened, Alan can shoot rounds in them which will kill them. If Alan shoots them when they're not in light, the bullets will have no effect.
Alan Wake will be out Spring 2010 and will be on the Xbox 360 and PC.
