I've been interested in reading some of the older Batman comics, but a lot of them are very expensive on ebay, so I'm wondering if DC will be doing anything like what Marvel is doing with the online comics.

Have they announced any plans? And even if they're not, who thinks they should do it?

I don't know of anything DC is doing.

Why not pick up books such as the DC showcase series?

They are in black and white, but they're generally inexpensive, and you get plenty for what you pay...

I think it would be nice if DC did something similar to what Marvel's doing, but maybe Marvel is more at leisure to fund such a project given all of their success.
