Original original Drax would probably win, IMO. Classic Drax when he had the Gem would lose.

Nah. By original I was hoping you meant when Drax was first created. He was intelligent then and could fire energy blasts, etc. Moondragon gave him brain damage, and he became Dumb Drax. Current Drax is smart again, though. I think those smart versions could tap into the Power Gem very well. Enough to beat Orion.

Anywho, yeah, Dumb Drax with the PG loses.
