Thor allows the use of Mjolnir at a charity event. For $100 anyone may attempt to lift the hammer. The following characters pay their cash and line up:

1) The Stranger
2) Classic Adamantium Ultron
3) Trion Juggernaut
4) Super-Adaptoid mimicking Thor
5) The Watcher
6) Mystique in the guise of Thor
7) Apocalypse
8) Worldbreaker Hulk
9) Doombot
10) The In-Betweener

Who succeeds in lifting the hammer? This is straight lifting - no external equipment or prep, but they can use both hands if necessary and can amp their strength to anything within the limits of their normal powerset.

thanos-prime
none of them are worthy so they cant lift it not sure about the watcher though

Harbinger
Haven't robots lifted Mjolnir in the past? The Doombot and Ultron should be able to.

Parmaniac
I know he's not on the list but what about Ragnarok (Thors clone)? Tecnically he is Thor just with robotic parts

Peterlane
Probably the Watcher, because he is worthy

Genetically yes, but I don't think he would be worthy, and he doesn't have the power to overcome Odin's enchantment.

I put in the various robots for exactly this reason. It has been shown on panel that a machine such as a crane can lift the hammer and the enchantment doesn't seem to come into effect. So what about sentient robots such as Ultron, Adaptoid, Doombot?

I'm thinking beyond being worthy/unworthy.

Are guys like the Watcher, Stranger, In-Betweener more powerful than Odin? Can they exert enough strength that Odin's enchantment simply does not have the power to stop them regardless of whether they are worthy?

Peterlane
Or they could just create 0 gravity roll eyes (sarcastic)

imo

stranger and in-betweener are greater than odin (a watcher is debatable). they could possibly get it to levitate off of the ground with sheer power.

ultron, super-adaptaoid, and the doombot lack souls and are exempt from the enchantment barring the unworthy from moving mjolnir.

and lulz at mystique "in the guise of thor", you should get E-slapped.

Peterlane
It depends where Mjolnir is. If it is in space anyone can lift it.

superman prime lifts it. and he doesnt pay the 100 dollars either

if gladiator can kick mjolnir out into space which is considered moving it then he should be able to lift it as well

r0nm0n88
well how does the hammer work, does it become more liftable if you are a worthy warrior, or a worthy person( like ethical)

Only on Midgard. if you are in space like Rulk figured, you can lift it

No.

Two different things my friend. Kicking it is not lifting it. Juggernaut was able to hold onto the hammer and ride it back towards Thor but he can't lift it.

No being worthy doesn't make it MORE liftable. Being worthy makes it liftable.

Physical strength is the last thing required to lift the hammer. IRRC you must either be worthy, have Thor's permission or be above Odin in power levels, like Galactus, Eternity, LT.

No being worthy doesn't make it MORE liftable. Being worthy makes it liftable. yes kicking and lifting are 2 different things. but if gladiator has shown that he can kick mjolnir that proves that he can move it. so that proves he can lift it. cause to even move mjolnir not just lift you have to be worthy

He kicked it out of his hands. Are we going to argue that Juggernaut can lift it too since the hammer didn't fall to the ground when he was riding it back to hit Thor?

If it was to the letter like that, Thor probably could of stopped the Celestials by holding his hammer up and letting them pierce their own armor with their weight by stepping on him.

Odin is the shit.

Rulk is just plain shit.

Rage.Of.Olympus
1) The Stranger - If he can overcome the enchantment yes.
2) Classic Adamantium Ultron - Depends
3) Trion Juggernaut - No
4) Super-Adaptoid mimicking Thor - Depends
5) The Watcher - No
6) Mystique in the guise of Thor - No
7) Apocalypse - No
8) Worldbreaker Hulk - No
9) Doombot - Depends
10) The In-Betweener - If he can overcome the enchantment yes.

In regards to the Super Adaptoid, Doombot and Ultron, it is a bit confusing because back in the earlier days an android was able to lift it. Yet other machines, such as cranes and so on could not as it progressed. It can be called a on and off thing if you wish. They cannot overcome the enchantment obviously, but if we choose to go by the interpretation that machines can lift it, that was shown back in Journey into the Mystery, then yes they can.

Agreed, I don't remember but is a robot for example ulton would he be able to use the powers? Fly atleast (dragged by hammer w/e)?
