Betterman
This World has been overcome with darkness and disparity. Every soul who has the unlucky pleasure to reside in this plane has been devoured by suffering, rage, and defeat. The warriors that occupy this land have all had there dreams crushed or have fallen just shy of their ultimate goals, shunning them from their once great potentials, to become men and women filled with anger, hatred, and a vile form of living without a purpose.

The once best of the best stroll these baron and lifeless land, where the sky is never bright with sun light. People from all over with so much on their side; those who have acquired great power, those who have learned of great wisdom, and those who have gained many worldly and unworldly possessions. Masters of the arts are now only masters of death.

A resentful and angry man trains beneath Mount Fuji, Honing his skills to levels of astonishing power. He wears a red Karate Gi that is torn and tattered with crusts of blood and dirt. He swings his fist through the once beautiful trees demolishing dozens with his ferocious strikes. His eyes are pale crimson, ciphering through rage and tears. He crushes a boulder with his mighty kick, then falls to his knees and cries out the name of his lost friend, "RYYYYUUUUU!" as he roars, a red headband flickers clinched tightly in his hand.

Wondering into the forest where Ken both trains and vents his anger is another skill martial artist. This one has become a traveler wishing to retreat from his failures, having given up on ever redeeming himself and only wanting to battle the strongest opponents as a way of personal punishment. He loathes himself and his weakness for being helpless to stop Shao-Kahn's destruction of his homeland and family.

Liu Kang sees a mighty warrior brutally training to increase his power and feels he must battle him. He doesn't care about honor or respect anymore, and through instinct and malice delivers a devastating flying kick to the back of Ken Masters. Ken flies forward but rebounds to his feet in an instant.

With tears streaming down his face Ken rushes his opponent holding nothing back. He has lost sight of himself and the man he once was, after having been incapable of stopping his best friend from being overcome with darkness and turning into the monster to which he still battles atop Mount Fuji.

Liu Kang has any and every technique and ability he's displayed, and a ruthless and blood thirsty attitude.

Ken has every power he ever displayed with no holding back in power and a loss of his compassion.

It's a fight to the death!
