FFVII ?: What are the colors on Zack and Cloud's uniform?

What are the colors on Zack and Cloud's uniform? In Crisis Core it looks as if their Soldier uniforms appear in black or dark blue, but in the actual FF7 their uniforms appear purple. What is the real color of their uniforms?
