For one thing, Apocalypse is not on the same level as Thanos and Darkseid. I like him, but his being the leader is highly unlikely. In fact, his even being on the same team is highly unlikely.

With 2 months prep, maybe Reed and...hell, I really don't know. Thanos with prep is nearly invincible. I mean, are we saying he could obtain IG or HOTU levels again, or even just build some ridiculously strong device with his god-like intelligence?

if thanos were to get the IG of HOTU he would just give it to his leader/capt....APOC would wield it...or they would split the gems...they each get two or APOC pulls rank and holds four and the other two are split between thanos and darkseid

I'm going to go with Orion (fully equipped, including motherbox), Annihilation form of Drax (since we all know he can take out Thanos) and last but not least, the Fury to take out Apocalypse and mop up whoever else survives.

Ok, Symmetric Chaos, I get your point, but the fact he still has the possibility to obtain that power in two months should count for something. Cause if he did, the battle would be a breeze for him. Where's the possibility? Well, whether or not the HOTU still exists and if Thanos may be able to seek it out once more is unknown as Thanos just appeared alive after his sacrifice and no longer typically desires to destroy the universe. That's just one possibility. If there's a way, Thanos' will find it.

swerve, are you crazy? Even if Apocalypse obtained the IG, he lacks the experience to wield it. Darkseid and Thanos would just jump him.

Kutulu, I agree about Orion and Fury, but I'd hesitate with Drax. For one thing, in Annihilation Thanos' back was facing him as you well know, because he was busy trying to save the universe. The forum rules dictate that each fighter battles at their max. Also, current Thanos isn't even alive but still wields influence over Death and as I've said a hundred times, may even become the new Death as writer Keith Giffen has suggested on the Silver Surfer Message Board. But even if you consider Thanos' death absolute and bar outside help, then how can this battle take place since there would be no current Thanos? Forum rules dictate current form unless otherwise stated, and hence, this battle was an impossibility anyway. Invalid thread.

Apoc depises mutiny....he would have their souls in jars before such an uprising could even be thought up
