Never
Desaad, Darkseid's master torturer, is delighted by his serendipitous discovery: the continuity gods delivered unto him four new victims.

1. Wolverine

2. Hulk

3. The Shaggy Man

4. Deadpool

Using his most creative and violent torture techniques, which victim succumbs first? Which one eventually emerges, claiming victory?

Feel free to cite *actual* comic book references to substantiate your claims.

Prediction: Last (walking out the victor) to first (succumbing first): The Shaggy Man, Hulk, Deadpool, Wolverine

deadpool lasts longest

I can see him getting to Deadpool via mental torture. Or clowns.

Shaggy Man lasts the longest. There's no brain up there for anyone to manipulate. Not even a consciousness. Hulk at least has that.

Don't think Deadpool lasts longer than Hulk or Shaggy Man.

Shaggy Man is, point blank, indestructible. No exaggeration - he's indestructible. To defeat him the JLA either had to: 1. Port him into space, 2. Create ANOTHER Shaggy Man, cage them together, drop them into the bottom of the sea, and let them fight for all eternity, 3. GL had to shrink him with his ring and put him in a cage.

He was infused with salamander genetics, enabling him to regenerate lost limbs - even his head. For a lost limb, see Grant Morrison's run with JLA. Not the first fight in the issue with General Eiling; the second one.

I don't think Deadpool's healing factor is superior to Hulk's either. Haven't read Deadpool lately (2nd tier comic book), but will toss up Hulk's fight with the U-Foes when Vector sheared off all of his skin, musles, tendons.

Interesting point about having a mind to manipulate...didn't even think of that.

Desaad isn't just a physical pain guy, he's also quite good at psychological torture and mind control.

The dude has invented quite a few of the scary things on Apokolips, he's not an intellectual lightweight.
