I'm not sure about that case, its been inconsistently portrayed but last time I can remember a Vampire trying he got a dose of UV light and turned to ash.

Did this upgrade of Supes incinerating vampires happen after his resurrection in the sun? The issue where the vampire cheerleader got the jump on him was late 90's

Anyway, if Supes tries some sheet with Marvel Earth, Franklin Richards traps him in a pocket universe filled with poo.

So you are implying some sort of ghost form exists after the particles of a matter manipulator have been completely scattered against the victims will. Very cool. I guess MM gets the seclusion he always wanted. Ripping Ares in half was no small feat...Ares was what I consider to be a singular construct like Thor or Superman, meaning all the particles of their body is connected to their very being...which is why they are so durable. What's stopping Sentry from doing the same thing to Thor or Supes?

MM is a cosmic cube not just a matter manipulator (but even Sersi who is just a matter manipulator and far from him in power can reform after desintegration), his existence is clearly beyond the constraints of his physical body and of his dimension for that matter. He has already transferred his conscience and powers to a rod and later on formed a new body for himself out of thin air. I'm certain he can survive the destruction of a body he willed into being. MM, like the other cubes, is actually made from the energies of the universe beyond and wont't be put down so easilly. The dialogue implies he survived as well.

PIS, CIS and the fact that SM doesn't exist in the marvel universe are what is stopping the sentry. Exploding MM is far more impressive than ripping any of the 3 you mentioned in half.

Now I'm more of a Marvel reader but I just assumed that's were the Red and Blue Supes came from. Just a guess.

the vampires thing is iffy. besides, they can only hurt him due to magic, and even then the sunlight thing has to be considered, and it IS the most recent example, iirc.

The Cheerleader didn't mind the blood! It was night time. And he was in agony. Though I have always used vampire teeth as possible weapon against Supes in other threads. The teeth are still enchanted for vampires can resurrect from ashes.

It was an old late 90's issue with a bat on the cover. Superman flew to a college that had been overrun by a master vampire surrounded by turned students. A Vampire cheerleader got the jump on him and started to drain him by the neck. Then Robin swung in and kicked her off him. Then Batman, Robin and Supes proceeded to kill them all. I think it was Action Comics.
