Which one is more powerful weapon?

U can use theyre overall feat from diff. Wielders..

Except for the pis flaw of the bands that says when needed writer can introduce a source of energy which bands cannot manipulate....

This is a tough one. I think its the bands because they could overload absorbing man while mjolnir always failed to do so.

The bands should have more potential. In comics, Mjolnir possesses greater feats.

Didn't Quasar absorb Ego or something like that?

Either way, Bands for absorption, Hammer for everything else, except flying

IIRC, he absorbed the Ego infestation on Earth. It took all he had but he managed to finish what Surfer couldn't. If it happened the way I remember -i.e. he reached his limit- it's not the best evidence to support Quasar > Mjolnir in energy absorption. Been a while unfortunately.

You know the quantum bands, were actually intended for use by Mar-Vell to replace his nega bands? Eon said they were far superior.

Mjonir. It's managed to absorb everything thrown at it no matter what the energy type.

Like a blast from the god destroyer. Thor absorbed that blast and redirected it.

Well if you keep in mind the face value of both, your trading in the ability to create constructs at the cost of some short comings, and limitations.

Quantum Bands can manipulate all energy within the electromagnetic spectrum. Has a hit & miss record with psi energy. And falls pray to magic.

Nega Bands manipulates all energy at a photonic level indiscriminately, space, and anti-matter.

At the cost of the constructs, I rather have Nega Bands. One of the few cosmic items, that can make magic its *****.

If I remember correctly it wasn't really energy but bio mass and I have yet to see mjonir absorb pure living matter within.

I think I'd rather pick the QB over Mjonir its user friendly (lOl's) and much more to offer than say energy manipulation.. Ie.. CA, direct link to it's maker, etc. Granted carrying Mjonir would be pretty cool I think.. lol's

I really dont understand what made that particular NB that Genis had so powerful, I mean it's not even the original one but a copied version made by kree science. I'm thinking what really granted him reality warping powers was his vast CA that he genetically acquired but not the NB.. dough I have no proof of that..

IIRC, it was his essence or power. If it was his bio-mass that's a different case. For the record, Mjolnir has been able to draw energy from the ground, the core of a planet and the entire Galaxy.

I'd probably have to give the advantage to mjolnir also.

The original version of mjolnir had time travel powers.
Mjolnir can manipulate souls.
Mjolnir appears to have better teleportation ability.
Mjolnir doesn't have a darkforce/magic weakness.
Mjolnir can create antimatter/antiforce, and matter manipulate.
Mjolnir grants its user better durability by default. (i.e. when not actively trying to block an attack, Thor is STILL very difficult to injure)
Against an enemy who might not be vulnerable to energy attacks, mjolnir has a powerful physical assault.

The Heighten Cosmic Awareness granted Genis-Vell the knowledge to wield the Nega Bands properly. It also helps that Genis insanity, left him morally unhindered.

This is correct... in the Coven arc they state that the nega bands are just tools that help him harness his own, inherent powers.

The way it was explained was that the machine were to separate Ego's mass/presence from the planet and that Surfer/Quasar was to absorbs it within.. Beside Quasar has done this on more than one occasion dough on a less powerful opponents..

I was referring to the bit about being more than an energy absorption tool. For the record, if you're from the House of Odin, using Mjolnir is instinctive.

having the QBs doesnt automatically grant CA; it has to be bestowed upon ya, and theres also the "test" that most ppl have to pass in order to wield'em (failing said test kills the testee btw )

personally I would rather have them over Mjolnir however, since I dont have to move my arms to use'em.
