Chaos King vs. Thanos

Instead of using a plot device like Hercules/Cho did to defeat Chaos King, can Thanos use the powers Hercules gain in the series to win?

Why not just make it Hercules vs Chaos King...

Because Thanos isn't an idiot like Herc?

It would be close but I think Thanos could pull it off somehow. Keep in mind, CK wasn't defeated by brute power, but by outsmarting him. So Thanos' intellect + SuperGod Herc power makes me think he can pull the majority wins.

To be fair Hers solution for nearly everything that happened in that arc was punching people.

herc for all that power he had(multiversal power) was still no match for chaos king....
