hmmm... well, a batkick can almost destroy a galaxy, and Doomsday said that had Batman done it on him it would've easily killed him as easily "as I would have squashed an ant", and that "it is the real threat". Since he said this while facing Superman, one can imply that batkick > superman

IG can destroy universes.

IG >>>>>>>> batkick > Superman

Wait...this isn't IG in unison. No problem, if Batman w/batkick > Superman, then Batman w/batkick and imcomplete IG obviously > Superman.

another dirty thing he could do is read all the minds of all humans and create a simulacrum of chuck norris and compile all of the "facts" into his powerset and have him hate superman with a passion with the mind/soul gems.

Maybe he mean he can only use 1 gem at a time? If So reality gem FTW!

The gems arent as powerful if they cant be used in unison. Really doesnt make any sense because if you have them all you ARE using them all at once (you'd still have invulnerability if you were just using the mind gem for example) but yeah this is overkill.

eternity bytched that the ig was a threat to his status, so the LT basically decreed it won't work for anyone from this point on, that probably extends to using two or more in concert also imo.

Why did Eternity allow it anyway?

Couldn't he have detected via his omnipresence that Thanos was about to acquire the gems, and stop him?

Why didn't he do the same to prevent that pharaoh from getting THOTI?

in the infinity war arc that fallowed the gauntlet issues.

since eternity wined to the LT to deactivate it's use as a unit, the LT would only rescind that decree if eternity asked for it. the magus used several cosmic containment units to render eternity comatose and they needed a weapon greater than five cc's to take him out so warlock decided it was time to reactivate the ig. only galactus had the authority an cosmic importance to even get an audience with the LT so warlock teamed up with him to get the babll rolling. dr. strange helped also. galactus calls a meeting, eternity is there all catatonic n shit, so galactus used gamora as a scalpel to fix his mind in order for him to utter the word "yes" (iirc) to activate the gauntlet.

during all that, the magus beats the shit out of warlock and takes the non-working gauntlet just when eternity gets it working again (minus thanos' reality gem)

so does batman have all 6 gems or not?

Batman wins via Batkick. Any IG Gem in the hand of Batman vs Superman is pure overkill.

^ when the gems were close together, they were powerless.

the gems are wielded by will, so i guess the LT's decree stops anyone's one will from commanding the gems. the infinity watch was allowed to function as protectors, and their gems worked, warlock imposed his own law of stopping lust for the other gems with immediate punishment with the soul gem also, he would know if anyone wanted to gather the gems to use them for evil or personal gain.

The gems all work. If you guys read the infinity gauntlet saga you would know that thanos talks about the power gem backing all other gems... So that there is no limit to the depths of power each gem could afflict...

The idea is this. If any of the infinity watch guys could do it... You can do it...

I remember before the IG was completed that Warlock was talking to Eternity about giving Thanos the reality gem. Eternity then stated that if Thanos recieved the rrreality gem that Thanos would be beyonded his reach.

Hrm I don't remember that portion at all.

Batman with the batkick amped by the IG turns him into Chuck Norris.

Edit. He should wear the Infinity boots instead, tho.

Yes the reality gem is powerful... But it does not have a large sphere of influenece if it is not backe by the power gem

The mind gem for example could do amazing things to peoples minds... When backed by the power gem... All minds in the universe would have been hers to control because there would hve been no limit to it's range/ power.

u can gather the gems regardless of the degree of the LT they just wont work when you try something universal they shut down...


but if u have them on u you can use them to a limited degree. Strange did just fine when he absorbed them into himself...

all LT did was scale them down to personal use in power and canceled them out when trying to use them in unison..

hell even the vampire dude from malibu comics could use them together it just wasnt as powerful..

if he knew how to use them he could have beaten silver surfer easy.
