Galactus is a jobber, that doesn't mean it will effect Brainiac, who was helping to defeat Imperiex. Brainiac also evolves.

the Brainiac's are known to have indestructable force fields. Just look at REBELS. Vril Dox surrounded a whole Galacy to protect him from Starro, who has the power of 9 Galaxies.
