Ok, I just got a hold of a couple of Sony and Nintendo emails and mailing box.

This thread is to share our ideas for future consoles, what we want to have for the next-gen consoles.

I'll send our ideas to the Sony and Nintendo HQs

Cyner
I think you're in the wrong forum.

But here are my suggestions anyway:

Sony: stop making consoles, stop making games. You fail so bad.

Nintendo: support your games, catch up with your online network, make Smash a fighting game again.

Kazenji
What a nintendo fanboy...

Sin_Volvagia
If only he realizes that Nintendo can no longer be considered a serious competitor in the console war. They lost their spot as top dog after the Super NES. The Metroid series is the only Nintendo franchise that hasn't gotten stale though New Super Mario Bros looks interesting.

Nintendo is only flourishing through the DS and casual gamers.

MooCowofJustice
Wow, the both of you are serious pricks. And Sin, you are just plain wrong.

Phanteros
Nintendo fanboy alert.

MooCowofJustice
Make that 4 pricks. Cyner was pretty pricky himself.

Nintendo sucks.

ScreamPaste
I lol'd. Thing is, Sony *is* failing really hard, Nintendo has the best internally developed games, as well as some really good third party games which you all seem to be neglecting for no good reason other than bias against the wii. No More Heroes, Deadly Creatures, Mad World, ect..

Nintendo needs to support their online better, and letting third party developers put out games on their consoles that aren't up to some level of quality. Keep producing great first party games, but start seeking *good* third party support more often. They do good things with Sega, and are getting work done with Team Ninja, ect. They just need more of this, this is a *great( direction they're going.

Microsoft needs to make a console that doesn't brick so damn easily. But otherwise they're basicly squishing Sony.

Sony needs to get off their high horse and start being realistic with their consoles, and stop lying about their specs. Stop overhyping themselves, and stop having their little pissing contest with Nintendo.

This.

In other news, all the 3 consoles can kiss my ass.

The only reason Wii has the most sales is because the appeal towards casual gamers. It does have innovation but to consider it competition to the PS3 and 360 is ridiculous. It lacks the tech and multiplatform titles that both consoles have.

And ScreamPaste, thats all? PS3 has Uncharted 1&2, Demon Souls, Infamous, LittleBigPlanet, etc. BTW, I'm aware of their position and why their former exclusives went multiplatform.

Wow.

Be gone infidel.

Microsoft isn't really squishing Sony.

Actually I wasn't referring to the last part of your post at all. I was referring to your comment about Metroid. You are just plain wrong.

That one on the DS? It looked like someone cropped pics out of various N64 games without anti-alias and slapped them onto the game. I honestly hadn't seen a game so pixelated since the days of 8-bit Mario.

Realize that the Playstation 3 is being used as a supercomputer right? that makes Wii's power look like a windows 93 processor. And games like Mag and Uncharted is the proof of that.

You're right, PS3 would have qualified as a supercomputer during Windows 3.1 era. And yes, the Wii is about 1 generation behind in hardware capabilities.

Cyner
Xbox 360 > Wii > PS3

It's all about the games. Having powerful hardware is great but if you don't have any worthwhile games on it then what's the point?

Funny thing is, PS3 doesn't have any significant advantage in hardware capabilities over X360.

yep xbox is so superior.

Don't confuse hardware capability with hardware stability/quality.

I'm not sure if it could hold that many players at once, but I also don't really see the need for that, unless we're talking about an MMO here.

Also, having so many players at more or less one spot puts a pretty nasty strain on the server.

I thought Warhawk supports up to 32 players?

NemeBro
The Wii IS a casual gamers system, it is not superior the the 360 in games (It is only arguably superior to PS3), and is vastly behind both in terms of power and tech.

PS3 really only needs to improve on their games IMHO, but they are getting better. I have also heard their online kind of sucks, though I myself have never played online.

Microsoft needs to fix the problems that should have already been fixed before the system was out.

MooCowofJustice
I have never lagged with my PS3 online, and it's free. Just sayin'.

NemeBro
Like I said, I had only heard that, did not know if it was fact.

Yeah, I forgot Zelda but they got to let go of that Wind Waker universe. The Star Fox and DK franchise have down after the N64 era and the Mother series stayed in Japan. F-Zero and Fire Emblem is MIA at the moment and Kirby lives on through handheld consoles. Nintendo's good franchises now are Zelda (though not as strong as it once was) and Metroid. Know others I'm not aware of?

Oh. That's a different story then, but the Galaxy games is where it's at for me (as far as Mario goes in the present generation), nothin' else.

The Playstation network doesn't have as much content as Xbox live, but it doesn't suck at all. Its also funny how the PSN gets Netflix for free and Xbox live forces you to go gold, although I could care less about netflix.

Peach
Nintendo went the most intelligent route by marketing primarily to casual gamers. Because non-gamers/casual gamers greatly outnumber people who would consider themselves more into gaming.

And the sales numbers support this by a huge margin.

The 360 and PS3 have plenty of shit third-party games, btw. This isn't something exclusive to the Wii.

This is in the wrong forum, and pointless besides. Closed.
