A non-jobbing Apoc BTW who uses all of his powers.

Omega Vision
Mongul without rings.

I think he can do a little better than that.

So do I I'm just trying to think of one.
By beat do you mean take a majority over in a KMC setting or just a character that Apocalypse could in theory defeat?

In comics but a non-jobbing Apoc.

redhotrash
He punked the Hulk pretty easily once.

Omega Vision
Wonder Girl.
Namor.
Thing.
Conner Kent?

Yea, but note that was a Hulk that could't get any madder.

Gray Hulk right?

Gray Hulk right? Green savage Hulk, who he only restrained.

I dont remember anything being different about that Hulk, but I wont swear on it. However I think against a standard Hulk he'd have a good chance of beating him before Hulk had a chance to really get amped. Apocalypse is supposed to have no real upper limit to his strength either, and is very versatile.
Oh, and with how hes been written lately, he can probably take Sentry lol

He has easily defeated Namor before.
Thing would be walk in a park for him.
WG would lose too.
Yea IMO CK would be one of the strongest people he can beat.
thumb up

Survivor19
Black Bolt. To hell with HoM crap
Pre-shaman X-Man.

Kris Blaze
I'd go with Ikaris or some of the weaker heralds.

redhotrash
Apocalypse would never ever be able to beat Blackbolt

In a setting which has nothing to do with the Apocalypse we're using here.

Those of us who read some comics way back when remember that Black Bolt failed to do anything when Apocalypse enslaved his people.

The Nuul
Kurse? could Apoc rearrange his molecules to become iron?

I do believe that a non-jobbing, all powers used to his best, could take some wins, though not the majority against.

Superman
Thor

for example

You really think Apocalypse would survive a black bolt shout?

Omega Vision
He could certainly whomp on jobberiffic Skrull WWH Black Bolt.

Apocalypse and Black Bolt fight the same level opponents no expression

How is that akin to a weak street-based opponent taking down a cosmic herald?

shokosugi
Apocalypse can beat a dumb Thor

Has this no expression smiley replaced "x turns x into salt" argument as your catch phrase now?

I'll turn your catch phrase into salt.

How is that akin to a weak street-based opponent taking down a cosmic herald? His ability to be unfazed by a BB scream is what's in question. It's obviously hack-writing at it's most flagrant.

Yes he can.
He has been shown the ability to change hes body parts to diffrent substances, and there was a time when he shot bullets from hes mouth.

Not hack writing, which would be something completely different.

It's just Black Bolt's powers being vastly underestimated.

Lord S
Yes you're right...I've never really bothered to find out what it meant. I just thought it generally meant bad writing.
