PS: I officially eliminate Saint of Killers from this discussion. There is nothing badass about a six shooter IMO.... I'm talking about the Deathstroke, Deadpool, Deadshot types.....

Yes, he did it to Wolverine and killed Deadpool in the Weapon X mini and beat Sabertooth in Weapon X the series.

I just finished reading Gunslinger. I've been too busy with the holidays stuff to read the rest. I only have the first four though, and i don't have the money to buy Wolves of the Calla, Song of Susannah and The Dark Tower yet

How come nobody mentioned Ham-Burgelar? He is deadly. Or Bugs Bunny who has managed to reverse the guns. even more powerful is Scarface probably much more then anyone else ever!

all bow to Roland of Gilead. about halfway down the first page i was going to make a post stating the answer was in fact the last gunslinger. whokid beat me to it though...

he's basically an enhanced human...his stamina, senses (especially sight), tactical strategy, and above all is REFLEXES are beyond human.

taking into acount is MILLENIUM of combat experience, i'd take roland against any of the jokers mentioned.

this gives me an idea...

I don't know much about the Punisher or the other guys, but you'd be hard pressed to convince me that ANYONE mentioned so far could beat Roland Deschain of Gilead and of the line of Eld, the last gunslinger "in a world that has moved on."

Roland cannot be beaten in a 1-on-1 draw, so in a fair fight I don't see how he could be beaten considering that he can draw his gun, shoot (and he never misses) 3 times before his opponent even got his gun halfway out of its strap.

I suppose it's also important to consider the fact that Roland has faced the devil himself, the anti-christ, one of the most powerful wizards of all time, etc.

Now that is a much better arguement, and one that is almost checkmate. If this is true, Roland doesn't have much of a chance...but he does have some hope and I think you can imagine and understand that Satan was just a tiny bit invulnerable to bullets as well.

To be honest though, I thought we were talking about two humans here. Roland is such a bad*ss because he's 100% human, as is the Punisher. So I just assumed that SOK was too lol, but if he's not...does he really belong in this debate?

He was a bad*** back in the day,i used to collect everything with this guy,guns swords daggers,polearms this guy used everything and was a great character... i think somewhere in my comic boxes i might have almost every appearence

Again, Roland of Gilead had guns that take SKILL. Six-shooters with blue-grey steel and sandalwood grips that didn't automatically just hit the intended target...they took skill to handle, and nobody in the world had guns quite like him.

Frank Castle may be a bad*ss, but he's a slower bad*ass than Roland Deschain of Gilead, the last Gunslinger.
