Infinity Gems:
Six gems that give one mastery over the six different aspects of the universe.

He altered the glove so that the six Infinity Gems could be attached to it,
allowing him to easily use them all in conjunction.
With the gems,
the Infinity Gauntlet gives the wearer so much power,
that he's basically one level below God.
Only the cosmic being known as the Living Tribunal,
(who is empowered by the creator of the universe, the "One Above All"
is capable of shutting off the power of the Gauntlet with the Infinity Gems.

the soul gem, the power gem, the reality gem,
the space gem and the mind gem.
Just possessing the gem gives you basic powers,
whereas mastery leads to god-like abilities.

A novice with the Time gem can time travel,
whereas a master may exist in all time periods simultaneously without causing paradoxes.

The Mind gem's easiest use is to read and project thoughts,
whereas mastery allows access to the thoughts of any and all living beings.

is actually a physical manifestation of the collective unconsciousness).

allows one to manipulate energies and have any ability they desire.

The Space gem,
can allow a simple-minded person to be able to teleport across interstellar distances,
whereas a more powerfully-minded person can warp space around them,
teleport anywhere (and even to different places simultaneously),
and summon any person or object into their presence.

The Reality gem,
allows one's desires to become real, scientific laws be damned.

The Soul gem,
allows the wielder to alter and control souls of the living and the dead.
The soul gem has at times seemed vampiric in nature,
wishing to ensnare more souls into its "Soul World"

Color: Purple
It allows the user to exist in any location (or all locations), move any object anywhere throughout the universe and warp or rearrange space.


The Time Gem
Color: Orange
It allows the user total mastery of time. 


The Soul Gem
Color: Green
Arguably the most dangerous, this gem is sentient and has a hunger for souls. It allows the user to steal, manipulate and alter souls, living or dead.


The Mind Gem
Color: Blue
It allows the user to boost mental power and access the thoughts and dreams of other beings.


The Power Gem
Color: Red
It contains access to all power and energy that ever has or will exist, backs the other gems and boosts their effects.

The Reality Gem
Color: Yellow
Perhaps the most powerful and difficult gem to use, it allows the user to fulfill wishes, even if that wish is in direct contradiction with scientific laws.

The Living Tribunal had to interfere, in fact,
it seems only the LT and Warlock were untouched by the Gem.

Starlin (through Thanos) telling us about why Warlock survived Thanos absorbing everything. pretty sure any gem backed by the power gem renders gem x's power trans-finite.
alone (besides the power gem), the gems haven't been shown to be trans-finite in scope at all, warlock being the longest wielder of a gem on-panel (and most in tuned with the soul gem, even capable of using it whilke the magus had it) hasn't exhibited any sort of trans-finite capabilities.
