This is like the Loki vs Supes thread all over again. Amora is one of the strongest female magic users in MU, she stomps.

Superman has speed though, wouldn't he be able to blitz Amora?

Really its a toss up. I don't believe anyone should beat Superman simply because they're magical but I think if she gets the first shot Enchantress wins it.

If superman didn't do a cheap blitz enchantress wins.

Hmm, doesn't look good for Supes.

Superman is only fast enough to lose. Also, any type of contact(even eye contact) with a magical being, and he risks exploding.

Supes doesn't have FTL combat speed. And Amora is pretty strong herself(physically).

i agree with the guy about supes not being able to fight at ftl speeds but he supes can easily fight in the mach lvl speeds just find not that he would.

I'm not exactly sure how they determined it myself but I believe they estimated the volume and the density of the planet and derived an estimate that way.

You missed my point. Superman doesn't need a huge amount of speed to beat her. Certainly not SOL, or near it. Those scans show that Thor himself wasn't looking for a fight. Surely in a forum fight, he would and so would Superman.

I might, but the thing is she doesn't have many combat feats, as she usually manipulates or seduses others to fight for her, so it would be pretty hard.

Capt Americas will was strong enough to resist Amoras effects and he then KOed her, even with a magical weakness, I dont see Superman of not being able to do the same.

And a simple spell from her also killed the Hulk.

Which is why I can see Superman dropping her a good punch but I can also see her owning him with a spell.

Edit: Also, that shit was horrible. Enough power to kill a horse? Wtf? In their original meeting during Secret Wars, Enchantress completely punked Hulk IIRC aside from killing him another time. The writer needs to re-read the source material.
