The Hell Knight.

The Baron of Hell.

You got to be one crazy strafing, backpedaling SOB to tangle with these suckas. Of course, if you got the BFG 9K, then the fight would be a whole lot easier. If you're out of ammo, then you're screwed. Of course, if you're a hardcore Doom player (or in a fit of 'roid rage), you can beat them to death with your bare hands.

From the Doom Manual:

Hell Knights:"Tough as a dump truck and nearly as big, these Goliaths are the worst things on two legs since Tyrannosaurus rex"

Barons of Hell:"The Hell knight was bad news but this is Big Daddy. These bruisers are a lot like Hell knights, but look a little different and are twice as tough to kill."

I hate these guys, but they are worthy of respect.

The Bruiser Brothers are the most bad ass of all brothers, with the possible exception of the Toguro brothers.

lol... Good example I suppose.

Never did like the concept of the Hell Knight in Doom 3 though.

Thats the first time seeing it

and yeah they look ugly.

Hellspawn demons like that are supposed to look ugly though, but I guess that's beside the point.

I just didn't like the Hell Knight in Doom 3 (which they recycled that appearance in the gawd-awful Doom movie) because it felt too different than the usual ones I'm used to seeing in the first two games... They look nothing alike. >.>

Even the totally unrelated Bruiser from D3 Resurrection resembled a Hell Knight more (even with the TV mouth and gun-arms, it still has a goatish head and goat hoofs). But my guess is that it was to be the Baron's incarnation in the D3 storyline.

Their level of bad ass-ness put together would make even the phrase bad ass itself say, "Woah, that's bad ass!".
