The fight takes place outside the X-Mansion, who wins?

Sunspot flies, is a class 50, has finally developed some actual superhuman durability and shoots blasts of heat and concussive energy. What is spider-man gonna do here?

Doubt the webs would have much effect. Sunspot melts Parker.

Right, because, ya know, it's not like Spider-Man hasn't whupped somebody out of his league who wielded fire powers before. Right? Right???

Tbh, it sounds like SS would roll this. But it's also not out of the league of others who Spidey has beaten (and yes, I'm excluding Firelord). And the list of people who should've beaten Pete and didn't is longer than my J. Jonah Jameson (extra points for where that paraphrased reference is from). Just something to think about.

It's deadpool not knowing who headsman is in the thunderbolts tie-in

but all heroes are that way, taking people who should beat them. The problem here is I dont see parker doing much damage at all, SS has the range, the flight can melt the webbing and blast from afar, even if it comes to a mellee he can hold his own

unless a water tower is outside the mansion, or parker makes fire retardant webbing he isnt winning.

even those might not work, he doesnt really make fire, he just blasts heat and concussive force

Actually, he regularly uses his default webbing to shield himself from flames....it's incredibly fire resistant. Various authors may have depicted it as otherwise, but I know that he hasn't used fancy webbing to be flame-resistant because I posted numerous scans to that affect in the old respect thread I made of him.
