Yoda from the movies only. Dorf is transported into Yoda's personal chamber senses he's evil and the two duke it out. Who wins ?

No plot device kill in these threads either. K.

Impediment
I'm confused about he Twilight Princess thing.

XanatosForever
The only feats that Ganondorf can use for this fight must come from his appearance in Twilight Princess.

Short version: Quan's bad at canon and limiting Ganon's feats.

I must be drunk.

I thought that the title read Yoda vs Gandalf.

NemeBro
Movie feats only, and Ganondorf wins.

Blight
What was it Ganondorf did that puts him above Yoda?

NemeBro
A small measure of his power allowed Zant to warp nearly the whole of Hyrule, robbing the population of their souls and shit in the process.

So there's that.

That was Ganandorf and not Ganon? I'm asking because I've yet to play Twilight Princess.

NemeBro
Well there's no difference but yeah, it was Ganondorf who bestowed that power to Zant.

Actually it was a weakened Ganondorf but lol.

NemeBro
He uses the power, and Yoda finds himself lacking a body and thus can't fight.

This doesn't work on Link because Link is just turned to a wolf by the effect, and IIRC later becomes fully immune to it.

Yoda sounds outclassed without the expanded universe.

NemeBro
EU Yoda should win handily.

Nephthys
Movie-only Yoda probably can't beat Ganondorf.

He'd need to get very close and lightsaber him alot to win.

Exactly.

NemeBro
Zant's powers were given to him by Ganondorf.

That doesn't necessarily mean we can attribute said power to Ganandorf.

NemeBro
Zant had no power before Ganondorf bestowed it to him.

Zant explicitly notes that his powers are that of his god's (Ganondorf).

Ganondorf has been seen utilising the same Twilight magic Zant can, albeit not in the way Zant did because it would be redundant (You fight Ganondorf in the Twilight realm, what Zant does is merge the realm with Hyrule).

Blight
I mean more in that we cannot attribute battle feats Zant achieved to Ganondorf's Battle Feats. If we could, then we'd be adding everything Captain Marvel has done to the Wizard Shazam, which I don't think is how it works.

NemeBro
....... Why can't what Captain Marvel has done be applied to Shazam?

Blight
Because Bestowing powers unto someone is not the same as using those powers in combat.
