Battler from the Umineko No Naku Koro Ni visual novel (which I am assuming is a game or at the very least is different from manga/anime enough to be put int this section) goes up against the wielder of hte Death Note in a duel of wits and intelligence.
here's how it works: Light Yagami is in charge of creating a mystery for Battle to solve, using anyone and anything else from UNNKN in the scenario and Battler has to solve it.
likewise, Battler constructs a mystery scenario of his own using anyone and anything from Death Note and Light has to solve it.
these mysteries are given to each other at the same time and whoever solves it first is the winner. which of these two geniuses is likely to solve their scenario first.
on a side note: a fist fight between these two. both are human so thsi should an even fight in this regard.
