There's not a single cartoon or live-action rendition of the DC or Marvel universe capable of taking on the DBZ fighters. Their comic selves can kick all kinds of ass, but not their TV/movie selves.

Faora gets ROFLblasted. She hasn't the power output to match Gogeta, and Gogeta seems to have physics-defying durability. Look back on when he momentarily let Omega Shenron just beat on him. They were suspended in mid-air, which would make him easier to move (especially for someone as powerful as Omega Shenron), yet he didn't even budge a centimeter. This is beyond spite.

There was superman in Unbounded(a Horrible adaptation of Superman: Brainiac) that took on the a supernova and planet being blown up.

And while Coldcast said that, it was clearly hyperbole. As 15 supernovas going off at once would have obliterated the moon completely.

It could be just a condense form of energy that equited to a supernova. I mean we allowed condense attacks for DBZ and use statements from there as a fact.

Wait. He actually said 15 suns exploding in his face. Which imo a sun exploding is more powerful than a Supernova. But you can't condense 15 suns worth of energy into such a small area and not even leave a massive crater on the moon. It was clearly hyperbole because of how scared Coldcast was.

My mistake. He lifted a portion of the city and pushed it back into place after the mole rat dragon dug tunnels to make it collapse. That's still waaaaaaay out of Faora's strength league though, and it was SSJ4 Goku, not Gogeta.

Agreed, I don't think the MOS characters can beat DBGT characters

The art work in DBZ Kai is great but the voice acting kind of sucks.

Did Kai's dub use the same voice as Z?

Most of the same actors were used. Gohan's and Frieza's were changed, IMO, to better voices. I hated Gohan's original Funi dub, and Frieza's was kinda stupid too. But the big change that Kai gave was the dialogue itself. Way less insulting to the viewer's intelligence, and way less childish and retarded. The music's admittedly hit-and-miss, the artwork's improved, and the lack of hair-rippingly annoying filler is very welcome. And it ends at the Cell games--no goddamn Majin f*cking Buu, Babidi, adult Gohan, Supreme Kai, Goten and Trunks, Super Saiyan 3, fusion, Piccolo's pussification, Krillin's hair... essentially all the worst parts of DBZ came after the Cell games, and Kai removed it all. F*ck yeah!


It's a huge step up from the original releases.

Yep. The only thing Kai was missing really was the good ol' Bruce Faulconer character themes, but everything else was pretty much better. Mecha Frieza and King Cold definitely had much better voices too, as Frieza actually sounded like a cyborg and Cold didn't sound gay.
