Do you have any realization of how powerful IT was in the Stephen King books? God-like, he comes from the todashi space, basically a place of absolute nothingness, he was banished there by the turtle(the creator god) of the universe, among other beings, its where earths most evil, deadly forces are sent for millenia
Id like to see what effects the PS stare would have on IT, and id like to see what the Deadlights would do to rider

Rider has beaten the devil himself, he's fought beings that would trump It, he wins solidly.

IT in the novels was never beaten by children and in the novels he's apparently above the devil and many of the other high powers

Quick question just cause everyone seems to know about the Steven king verse and I'm always interested in powerful entities, I've always thought The Crimson King (True Form/Dis) was the most powerful foe in the the SK verse cause isn't he the opposite of Gan? An if he wasn't stopped wasn't something said that he'd destroy the universe then go onto the "real" universe or something (obviously impossible but a cool sounding flex of power by the author)? Yet I still hear some people saying the IT entity is stronger? Which one really comes out on top? Cause IT does sound strong but at most he seems like a universal threat?

Could someone please clear this up for me? My SK knowledge isn't the best lol.

Pennywise was only defeated because of the nature of his abilities- they revolved around belief.

Basically, anyone that believes in Pennywise can fall prey to him. The original movie was idiotic, and the extent of his abilities was unclear. It's the same in the new movie actually- where Pennywise seems to be more of a shape-shifter than any universal abstract.

Novel Pennywise was defeated by the ritual of Chud, which basically bestowed upon Bill the might of God to defeat Pennywise in a telepathic showdown.

That's like if Thanos w/ IG had lost to the Living Tribunal because TOAA bestowed enough power upon LT to beat Thanos. That wouldn't make LT > Thanos w/IG, that would just mean that TOAA > Thanos w/IG, which is obvious, lol.

Pennywise from the book isn't getting beaten by Joker or Ghost Rider, lol. He's universal- and kind of like the Devil of the SK universe.
